Valley Artisans presents Sharon Blakemore Kingsbury and her work ” DON’T THROW STONES”, April 19-May 14.
Sharon has been sculpting in clay for the last 25 years. She has been interested in the concept of family and community in our society. As this has evolved, she became increasingly aware of social media and its impact on our lives. Thus the idea of Glass Houses was born. When she began constructing her glass houses in 2015, social media was not quite so in your face. Now it is wrapping around us like a fishing net and affecting all we do.

Sharon’s Bio includes:
BA, Art History, MA Education; good deal of studies in Ceramics/ Sculpture workshops at Skidmore College 1995-2009.
