Mark Tougias is a local artist who paints landscapes in beautiful oils.
Mark has been painting since early childhood. He began exhibiting as a teenager and since then has had over 40 one-man shows, countless group shows and has won numerous awards. He has been listed in the Who’s Who in America and is a current member of Gloucester’s prestigious North Shore Arts Association and a former member of Boston’s Copley Society.
Mark’s landscapes and street scenes emphasize light, tonal qualities, mood and poetry. He has just completed a major one-man show at the Southern Vermont Art Center.

He will be showing his work at the Small Gallery in the Valley Artist Market 25 East Main Street, Cambridge, NY from March 17 to April 11. There will be a wine and cheese reception on Saturday March 18 from 3:00 to 5:00.
