The 16 artists — Terri Messenger, Alice Kaplan, Deborah Jones, Pamela Malsan, Pat Goodale, Rob Goodale, Trudi Smith, Amejo Amyot, Carolyn Justice, Michelle Winne, Marina Petro, Lorraine Roth, Kate Torpey, Miguel Hoyos, Robin Rosenthal and Carolyn Kibbe — are primarily painters, working in oils, acryllics and pastels. Their subjects cover landscapes, florals, figurative, animals, and abstracts, and picture sizes range from very big to very small. The group first got together via shared studio space on Beekman Street in Saratoga, and many continue to work there. They also meet more or less regularly every month for lunch, where they critique each other’s new work, discuss projects, and generally talk shop.
