ARTAA, Adirondack Regional Textile Artists’ Alliance, presents “ Portals” at Valley Artisans Market in Cambridge, New York. We invite you to step through, look through, and even dream yourself through our depictions of Portals. There’s always something illuminating, curious, beautiful, or even darkly evil on the other side. Our use of textiles and fibers will be stitched, woven, painted, beaded, and layered. Portals may be seen from August 29 -September 22, 2025

Adirondack Regional Textile Artists’ Alliance was established in 2005 for the purpose of exploring new ideas in textiles. Our work embraces the principles of fine art, with our focus being the aesthetic value of a piece rather than its utility. Each member has her own approach to the medium and engages in an on-going process of learning and experimentation. ARTAA has exhibited in juried national and international art shows, traveling exhibits, and local art centers.
