About the Artist:
Meryl Davis’ passion for art and design is evident in her beautifully crafted enamel and fused glass jewelry, vibrant mosaic wall art, and abstract stained glass window art. The artist’s creations are featured this June at Valley Artisans Market in Cambridge, NY.
“I love the freedom to express myself in the different mediums that I use,” she says. In creating her enamel and fused glass jewelry, it’s “the color and the movement” that inspires her, while in her mosaics and stained glass, “it’s the abstract shapes, the colors and textures.”
The owner of Blackbird Design Studio in her Wilton, NY home, Meryl is also a partner in the Cottage of Art and Design. This collaborative space with four other artists located at 73 Beekman Street in Saratoga Springs, NY, serves as a hub for local artists to showcase their work.
