Grant to be awarded to local graduating senior
Valley Artisans Market is pleased to present a $100 grant to a graduating senior with outstanding ability in art, who plans to major in art and to earn a fine arts degree. Valley Artisans draws its members from towns throughout the Cambridge Valley area, and each year it presents this award to a qualified young artist from one of these towns. The name of this year’s recipient will be released at Commencement.

Valley Artisans Market is looking for artists specializing in silversmith jewelry and watercolor. We encourage you to apply to become a working member in all media, but especially these two. Membership includes working two shifts per month at the market and serving on a committee. There are no monthly fees and you receive 75% commission on your sales! Opening Reception: Saturday, May 7, 3 – 5 pm
VAM has scheduled our yearly theme show, which is based on FLIGHT. The event is open to the public. To submit art work for this show, the artist must drop off the actual work on May 3rd and 4th during gallery hours: 10 am-5 pm. (No emails or photos of work will be considered.) If multiple pieces are submitted, only one may be chosen due to lack of space.) Work that is not sold must be picked up June 1st.
