Anastacia Pesce: jewelry
Anastacia's jewelry designs have an eternally contemporary quality. Her jewelry is a statement accessory for any outfit, from denim to silk. Utilizing traditional materials and hand techniques, she explores form, technique, and content. Mostly fluent in sterling silver, she also uses 18k yellow gold, pearls, and other appropriate materials to convey and complement each design.
Her techniques include but are not limited to hammer embossed surfaces, crocheted wire, and many fabrication processes. You can find her work in Arline Fisch's book on crocheted metal, published in 2006 by Lark Books, and Tim McCreight's book Jewelry Fundamentals and Metalsmithing, published by Hand Books Press in 1997. Her work has also been featured in the Portfolio section of American Craft Magazine, and reviewed in Ornament Magazine. A link to Anastacia's web site can be found on the VAM links page.
